Privacy notice
What we keep about you, why, for how long, and how to have it deleted.
Last updated 11 October 2026
We keep as little about you as we can, and we never sell it or share it for marketing.
What we keep
- If you book as a guest: your name, email, and phone number if you give it, so we can send your booking, a reminder and any changes.
- If you join: your full name, the name you go by, email, password (scrambled so nobody can read it), what you are interested in, how you heard about us, whether you want our occasional emails, and when you agreed to the group agreement.
- If you choose to tell us: anything that would help on a session, and an emergency contact. These are encrypted and only the people who run the club can see them.
- Your bookings: which sessions you booked, cancelled and came to.
What we never keep
Your date of birth or age, health conditions, diagnoses, medication, why you joined, or any card details. Donations are handled by Stripe, who hold the card details.
Why we keep it
Running the club is in our legitimate interest, and yours. Marketing emails are only sent if you tick the box to say yes, and you can untick it any time.
How long for
For as long as you are a member. If you delete your account, your details are wiped straight away. We keep a nameless count of the sessions you came to so our totals still add up, but nobody can tell it was you.
Your rights
You can download a copy of everything we hold, change it, or delete your account at any time from your account page. If you would rather ask a person, use the talk to us form. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Where it is kept
On servers in the UK or the EU.
